Uhh..did somebody say Clint Eastwood? Well, he’s cool and smooth, but is he luscious? We have no idea. 🙂
But these weight loss smoothies sure are.
Enjoy these weight loss smoothies for breakfast or for a low calorie or low fat diet. They are the perfect snack for in between meals. You decide depending on your lifestyle and what your goals are.
Or maybe you just plain ole’ feel like having a smoothie….with no dieting involved!
Here is one yummy page of favorite smoothie recipes. They’re all basically healthy smoothie recipes because you use only low fat or no fat milk to make them. You could cut back on the sugar to your liking if you are watching the sugar in your diet.
Weight Loss Smoothies With Berries
The 2 Berry Smoothie
This one we suggested for the 1000 calorie diet. But go ahead and try it with whatever diet you’re doing.
- 1 c. low fat milk (skim or 1%)
- 1 c. strawberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 c. raspberries (fresh or frozen)
- 2 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 cup ice cubes
Place the milk, berries and sugar in a blender; cover and process everything until smooth. Add ice cubes, stir it up and enjoy!
Amount Per Serving (1 cup)
Yogurt Blueberry Smoothie
- 1 cup of yogurt (greek style yogurt) low fat
- 1 cup of fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1/2-3/4 cup water or almond milk (or other milk if you have a favorite, I like to use almond soy milk)
Blend all ingredients in a blender until well blended. You can add more water of almond milk if you like a thinner smoothie or don’t use as much for a thicker smoothie.
