Amount Per Serving (1 cup)
Yogurt Blueberry Smoothie
- 1 cup of yogurt (greek style yogurt) low fat
- 1 cup of fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1/2-3/4 cup water or almond milk (or other milk if you have a favorite, I like to use almond soy milk)
Blend all ingredients in a blender until well blended. You can add more water of almond milk if you like a thinner smoothie or don’t use as much for a thicker smoothie.
The yogurt blueberry smoothie is a great smoothie for the Mediterranean Diet. The Mediterranean diet focuses on eating colorful fresh fruit and vegetables each day and adopting a lifestyle diet to get and stay healthy. Take a look at the Mediterranean diet for a sample meal plan for one day.
