BREAKFAST -366 calories
Place 3 slices of fresh avocado, 1-2 slices of beefsteak or Roma tomato and a sprinkle or two of basil on top of crusty sourdough toast with a touch of balsamic vinegar for flavor.
Drink: 8 ounce of apple cider
SNACK -150 calories
1 cup chocolate pudding
LUNCH -171 calories
Banana Orange Vanilla Smoothie
Blend the following ingredients until smooth in blender -1 large banana, 1/3 cup low-fat or no fat vanilla yogurt, 1/8 cup frozen orange juice concentrate, 1/2 cup 1%or skimmed milk,
2 teaspoons whey powder (optional) and 5 or 6 ice cubes, crushed up.
DINNER -515 calories
Quick Oriental Moo Shu Pork (365 cal)
Mix together 340 grams of ground pork, some chopped up or minced up garlic, 1 tbsp.cornstarch, 1 tsp. minced ginger and a dash or two of pepper, a dash of vinegar and a dash or two of soy sauce.
Mix together some bottled oyster sauce, 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp. sesame oil and remaining vinegar and soy sauce.(to taste) Set aside.
Heat up 1 tsp. of the vegetable oil over high heat; cook 2 eggs, stirring constantly, just until set, around about 30 seconds. Remove to plate.
Add the rest of the vegetable oil to wok; stir-fry pork mixture, breaking up with spoon and scraping up browned bits, until pork is no longer pink, about 5 minutes.
Stir in a store bought bag of coleslaw mix and a handful of mushrooms; cook until mushrooms are just about softened, for about 2-3 minutes.
Add soy sauce mixture, 2 sliced or chopped green onions and the cooked eggs; stir to coat. Spoon the mixture onto your favorite whole wheat or other flavored styel tortillas.
